I offer recording and production sessions in Spirit Studios, central Manchester.

The Main room at Spirit contains a 1970's VR legend console, Studer A800 24-track tape machine and a top-of-the-range Pro-tools HDX system.
Professional grade outboard hardware and mics including Neumann, Coles, AKG and all the industry standard models.
Some amps speakers and equipment are also available on request.

Other studio rooms are available for tracking and overdubs as well as dedicated editing and mastering suites to finalise your productions.

Hourly rates range from £10 p/hour up to £25 p/hour for the main recording space with myself as engineer and producer.

Dry hire is available by contacting Spirit directly but as an ex-student
I can offer highly reduced rates.

For a limited time only I am offering a live recording session
in the main studio space.
This one day session includes fully edited video footage for one track,
and audio mixed and mastered remotely.

to give you an idea of what is possible.
The idea of these sessions is to record a live performance of the main
elements of the band or group and augment this with overdubs.

Although it is usually better to concentrate on the production of one track
and video footage, it is often possible to get 2 or 3 tracks down plus a
video for one. Remember this includes mixing.

***Please note this includes mixes of all the tracks but done remotely by sending updated mix versions to the musicians; I can include a listen in person session too if it makes to process easier but this may be in the Mastering suite or Other available studios at Spirit***
